Hope for Hounds Collars

It's that time of year again!

Since 2007, Alisha and I have been doing a fundraiser for Hope for Hounds. Raising money for Dr. Couto's ongoing research into canine cancer has been a way to give some hope to the many, many pet parents whose dogs are diagnosed with the various cancers that steal so many of our friends from us.

Each year, I come up with a design based on the theme "Love, Hope, Believe", and Alisha gets the design woven or printed, and makes her fabulous martingale collars from the resulting ribbon or fabric.  This year, major bonus, we did our design in FIVE COLORS!

You can see and order the collars exclusively on her website, 2 Hounds Design. You don't want to wait too long, either. From the website:

As always, until July 15th, we will donate $10 from the sale of each collar. After that date, we will donate $5 from the sale of each collar.
Pink, for all the girly-pups, or those who just rock the rose!
(The fabric was delayed on this one, so add about a week for delivery if you order Pink
Chartreuse, baby! If tennis balls can do it, so can this collar. I'm talking BOUNCE!
Orange is the happy color!  Well, it is one of the happy colors.  One of the happiest!

Rust, but in a good way. Rust with these soft greens would look so good on a red brindle, red fawn, black or white dog!
Blue.  Yeah, it goes with everything, just like your jeans!

In case you're new to martingale collars, they're designed with a loop that tightens when the leash is pulled (by you or your dog), but only so far, unlike regular choke collars.  They are great for dogs with heads smaller than their necks, to help avoid escapees.  These are made with a canvas fabric layered over a tough nylon webbing, and lined with soft cuddle satin, for a durable as well as fabulous collar.

Go!  Go now and buy!  :D
